József Trefeli - Choreographer Dancer Actor
 
József Trefeli is an award winning, internationally acclaimed performance artist. Australian born and bred with a Hungarian heritage, József has worked out of Geneva since 1996.  Accomplished in contemporary and classical dance, musical theatre, singing, tap and traditional Hungarian dance; József draws on his talents to create innovative and pertinent contemporary dance theatre.  

In his eight years with Alias Compagnie (one of Europe’s premiere dance companies) he created roles that challenged and charmed critics and audiences worldwide.

On 6 continents, 30 countries, and over 100 cities, József has achieved critical acclaim for his many and varied dance performances and numerous choreographic works. The diverse range of styles in which József choreographs include contemporary dance, cabaret, theatre, special events, musical comedy, opera, music video clips and film. He has proven his ability to create solo work as easily as directing and choreographing casts of up to 25 dancers.
