C.V. Jesús Quiroga began his studies in Galicia, in 1980 moved to Madrid to continue his training with the teacher Carmina Ocaña. In 1986 he presented to the hearings of the National Ballet School in Spain, central office the Teatro Real in Madrid and was admited and received a sholarship fron the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, entering National Ballet School of Sapin led by Maya Pliseskaya and having as teachers in ballet: Plisetsky Azari, Valentina Savina and contemporary dance Carl Paris. Combining academic preparation, it is noted in contemporary dance Cristine Tanguy, Africa Morris, Alein Grotaduría, Carolyn Carson, etc. Parallel part of the Source Dance Company Luis Fuente, ex-dancer Jofrey Ballet, (New York). Finished his studies of Classical Ballet at the “Real Conservatorio Profesinal de Danza de Madrid” in 1990, to be licensed in the specialty of dance pedagogy. In 1995 he returned to Galicia to create his own Galega Contemporary Dance Company “Ballet Jesús Quiroga” in the same year founded the Cultural Association “World Dance”. Jesús Quiroga begins his most personal and artistic wanderings as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and director. Quiroga was inspired by his creations both in nature and in different artistic fields,such as music, literature, visual arts, architecture, fashion, etc...In 2003 joins the faculty at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza, in a the city of Lugo (Galicia). Quiroga becomes this creation in an explosion of vitality, getting trhough the movements, music, colors and light, a spectacle for all ages, full of originality and beauty. In this choreographic work, the interaction of music, literature and visual projections, it is an invaluable aid for the inspiration of the creator, then you are lucky enough to drink from the many and varied creative source.
